Summer is almost over, but that's not changing the mood in the European Youth Capital 2023. While some of us are preparing to go back to school or university, Lublin is offering plenty of exciting events. Got no plans for this autumn? At the beginning of the month, on 2 September, volleyball fans are invited to Tomasz Wójtowicz Final-Bogdanka Beach Volley Cup. Make the most of the summery weather and support the best athletes during the exciting finals. The Polish Skateboarding Championship playoffs will also be held during the first days of September at Rusałka skatepark. Get ready for a wild and fast ride. Later, on 9 September, visitors can enjoy the BMX Racing Championships. More is coming at the end of the month, so don’t miss the 3x3 U23 World Cup in basketball.

This year's European Youth Capital is all about arts. If you are passing by, make sure to stop at the wonderful Festival of Art in Public Space Open City. Once again, Lublin will become an enormous art gallery packed with art installations, sculptures and performances by world-renowned artists.
Festivals are really taking over the city so don’t miss the Lublin Science Festival (18-24 September) either. Immerse yourself into "science for the future", to enter the world of knowledge, learn about the latest scientific and technological developments, explore the potential of artificial intelligence, and meet scholars and experts from diverse academic backgrounds. Let’s not forget that this year is dedicated to Nicolaus Copernicus and all the science legends around him. So? Are you ready to expand your boundaries of knowledge?

Lublin is taking steps towards a good cause. And you can too. Grab your friends and walk together the Pink Ribbon Walk. The more, the better, as the event aims to raise awareness of breast cancer and encourage regular breast check ups. Want to walk even more? The European Youth Capital promotes equality, mutual respect and respect towards the rights of others. That’s what the Equality Parade stands for. Psst...
