We are very excited to officially announce the final line-up for the two nights of music at this year’s YO!Fest, 9-11th May, in Strasbourg. YO!Fest go-ers are in for a real treat with live music from world-famous acts on both nights!

Asian Dub Foundation will headline the Friday night open-air gig, which will be in Place Kléber the city’s main square. La Fanfare en Pétard, another huge act, is also on the bill for the concert, organised by the European Youth Forum and hosted by the City of Strasbourg, which will be open to YO!Fest goers and to the general public.

Saturday’s club night at Rhénus Nord, very close to the European Parliament, will see everyone dance the night away to the best European electro, pop and rock beats. Headline artists are Puggy, DJ Falcon from Daft Punk and DJ Riva Starr.

The European Youth Forum, with Jeunesses Musicales International, is running an Emerging Band Competition and the winners of this will also play on both nights. There is still time to get your entries in before the deadline of 13th April!

About YO!Fest:

2014 marks the 5th edition of YO!Fest, the annual Youth Festival organised by the European Youth Forum. Mixing political debates and workshops with live music and artistic performances, YO!Fest aims once again at mobilising young people and youth organisations across Europe. Ahead of the European elections, YO!Fest will be even bigger and better this year, as a prominent and key part of the European Youth Event – EYE 2014, organised by the European Parliament from 9th to 11th May 2014 in its premises in Strasbourg.

The EYE 2014 will, for three days, bring together 5,000 to 8,000 young people from all over Europe, to meet, exchange and debate their “Ideas for a better Europe”, around five key themes: youth unemployment, digital revolution, future of the European Union, sustainability and European values.
